Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, sees Nathan Drake battling his way to treasure, past pirates, traps and other obstacles, in one of the most enjoyable experiences on PS3. The Indiana Jones influence is more than welcome.
Thanks to an interesting plot, good characters and a supreme online experience, Resistance is a clear winner in the shooter category, pushing aside games such as Call of Duty 4 with ease.

Insomniac rule the platform gaming world on Playstation 3 at the moment, following up Tools of Destruction with the short, but incredibly good, Quest for Booty, not to be missed.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Though it is relatively unchallenges, Oblivion is such an incredible game that it is a thoroughly deserving winner of the Best RPG title. With hundreds of hours of excellent gameplay, the few tiny glitches can easily be ignored.

In a lean year for racing games, Motorstorm is triumphant, with extremely good visuals and solid racing. The crashes can get a little tedious, but they certainly show what the physics engine can do.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Though not strictly a strategy game, GRAW 2 is currently the best PS3 offering for strategic play. The tactical element involved in squad work is emphasized by significant variance in the skill of each team member.

The carefully pitched ambient themes and orchestra-accentuated story sequences each combine to make one of the best original scores for any game ever. Ratchet Future is a clear winner for the best score of 2007.
Cranking up the sound on your speakers and unleashing hell with the Dropship, hitting the boost with your Warhawk, or simply hearing an aircraft swoop overhead; these are all unforgettable sound experiences.
The beautiful, colourful, radiant jungle featured in Uncharted set new standards for graphical prowess that are rivalled only by other greats such as Ratchet and Clank and Call of Duty 4.
Resistance: Fall of Man set a standard for online gaming way back in March 2007 that has yet to be matched. The communications setup, party system and squad layout combined to make a perfect online FPS environment.
Escaping from pirates, uncovering lost treasure, fighting off zombies... well, with the exception of that last part, it's standard stuff but brilliantly portrayed in Uncharted, a game with one of the most interesting stories around.
The story in Uncharted is pretty strong, but the game owes much of this success to the voice actors that bring strong characters such as Nathan Drake to life. It was a close call with COD 4, but Uncharted is a worthy winner.
Though it's a simple concept, there are a million different things that can happen during a game of Calling All Cars! provided you're sat with freieds.
An unbelieveable achievement and a fantastic online experience for the PSN. Warhawk is a great game and easily the best store title to appear so far. Take to the skies in a Warhawk as soon as you can.

Ratchet and Clank Future is one of the greatest platform titles around, and completes a brilliant year for Insomniac Games who also have Resistance: Fall of Man as a runner up. Ratchet is a refreshing, exciting and wonderful title to play.
